KCC has sixteen primary webpages and on this webpage, the goal is to help all businesses and persons interested in or overlapping with the cinematography industry, to be networked together as there is no other singular webpage attempting to link hundreds of local, regional, national, and international resources all in one place.
Our other webpage has upcoming KCC events as well as non-KCC events. We strive to list all cinematography events such as casting calls; premieres; film festivals; job opportunities; etc., to keep the community informed of such events. We welcome you submitting information as it can be a challenge to seek out all of these details.
There are links for casting companies; talent agencies; talent schools, etc., and those folks place a greater emphasis on their specializations than what will be attempted herein. Please view the links to those companies (below). Please see our disclaimer at the bottom of the page.

B-Side
B-Side is an entertainment technology company that captures audience opinions to discover great films
and deliver them to viewers around the world.
B-Side discovers films through audience feedback from its community of hundreds of film festival
websites representing the world's largest film focus group. B-Side delivers these films globally through
bside.com and partnerships with distributors including the Independent Film Channel.
At B-Side, we are dedicated to changing that.
That is why we created bside.com the largest single network of film festival audiences and a new online marketplace bside.com is designed to help filmmakers sell their films to people who already love independent film. It is that simple.
We know your audience. Over the past two years, we have created the online communities for more than 40 international film festivals and IFC. Our sites have connected 3 million film fans with 10,000 films. Now we are connecting them to bside.com.
We give your audience the power to choose. Film fans buy movies on DVD. They download them to their computer. They watch them on their iPod. Why not give them all of the options they could want? bside.com is the first and only independent film site to offer both downloads and DVDs for our entire catalog. We are also the only one to offer downloads without the restrictions of DRM, allowing them to play on any computer and any portable device, as well as being burned to DVD.
We give you a fair deal, with B-Side, there are no hidden or up-front costs, no magic break-even point. You earn from each sale, period. We pay every 30 days. Plus, we're non-exclusive, meaning you do not have to choose between bside.com and any other opportunity.
Interested? To get started:
1. Find out more about who we are and how bside.com works in the Frequently Asked Questions.
2. Read our Distribution Agreement, with an overview of Terms in plain English.
3. Register online.
We will take it from there.

A local entrepreneur bought the historic theater at auction to save it from the wrecking ball and then turned it over to two arts advocates who created a non-profit arts organization, called the Kentucky Theater Project, Inc.
KTP re-opened the doors to the historic Kentucky Theater on Earth Day 2000 to celebrate the unity of all people. Since that time, organization founders have worked with hundreds of volunteers to transform the Kentucky Theater into a vibrant community arts center and art film house In its short history, Kentucky Theater Project has been featured extensively on television, radio, newspapers and magazines as a model for grassroots community arts development.

Locust Grove is a National Historic Landmark on 55 acres of the original 694 acre farm established by William and Lucy Clark Croghan in 1790. William Croghan was the brother-in-law and surveying partner of George Rogers Clark, founder of Louisville and Revolutionary War hero. George Rogers Clark spent the last nine years of his life at Locust Grove, from 1809 until his death in 1818. Locust Grove also hosted three U.S. Presidents, Monroe, Jackson and Taylor, and was a stopping point for famed explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark upon their return from their expedition to the Pacific. In addition, Locust Grove was home to numerous enslaved African-Americans who lived and worked on the farm and contributed to its success. Locust Grove tells the story of George Rogers Clark, early Kentucky history, western expansion and everyday life on the frontier.
Locust Grove's primary purpose is to provide educational opportunities which engage the public with early Kentucky history and life, while focusing on the historical character and contributions of George Rogers Clark, and the history and preservation of the circa 1790 historic house and supporting buildings. The Locust Grove Board of Directors and the staff are concerned with serving a diverse audience and work to carry out the above goals through programs that provide a variety of learning experiences, best interpret the site and enhance educational opportunities for all visitors.
In March 2000 Locust Grove was awarded museum accreditation by the American Association of Museums. Accreditation certifies that a museum operates according to standards set forth by the museum profession, manages its collections responsibly and provides quality service to the public. Of the 8,000 museums nationwide, only some 750 are accredited, with this honor Locust Grove joins the J.B. Speed Art Museum and the University of Kentucky Art Museum as the only three accredited museums in the Commonwealth.

Opening in 1909, the Grand began its long tenure of providing its patrons with excellent entertainment.

In 1929, the Grand was remodeled and outfitted with "Fox Movietone", which was cutting edge at the time.
This enabled patrons to see and hear news related to national and world events for the first time. By

and the Indiana theaters. In January 1937, the Ohio River rose to an unprecedented level. Boats were the
only means of transportation in the downtown area. At the crest of the flood, the water was "ticket
counter" high, on the box office of the Grand. In July, the Grand started its renovation project which
was completed that December. By the 1950's the Grand, one of the first theaters in New Albany, was the
only movie theater left. The last movie shown in the Grand was in 1975. Many happy memories of days gone
by at the Grand make any event here more than special.

Beginning with a rough-hewn solid block of wood from a felled tree in Kentucky, artist Chris Ramsey sculpts "blanks" into magnificent works of art. When completed, the sculpture is suitable for display and use. The turned hat sculptures weigh approximately 7-9 ounces and may be comfortably worn. All of Ramsey's turned creations are special one-of-a-kind works of art and are "must-have" collector's items.
Most of Ramsey's art works are crafted from a single, unique piece of wood with no gluing or joining of individual pieces. Ramsey delights in "thin-walled" turning with many of his works achieving a thickness of a mere 3/32 of an inch. All pieces are durable and have a luxurious finish of twenty coats of lacquer applied over a period of several days followed by hand-rubbing to produce a radiant final appearance.

The business of independent motion picture production and distribution - a truly collaborative process - reaches its peak every year at the American Film Market. Over 8,000 industry leaders converge in Santa Monica for eight days of deal-making, screenings, seminars, red carpet premieres, networking and parties. Participants come from over 70 countries and include acquisition and development executives, agents, attorneys, directors, distributors, festival directors, financiers, film commissioners, producers, writers, the world's press all those who provide services to the motion picture industry.
Founded in 1981, the American Film Market (AFM) has grown steadily to become the premiere global marketplace where Hollywood.s decision-makers and trendsetters all gather under one roof. Unlike a film festival, the AFM is a marketplace where production and distribution deals are closed. In just eight days, more than $800 million in deals will be sealed . on both completed films and those that haven.t started shooting yet . making AFM the must-attend industry event.
The AFM transforms Santa Monica. The Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel and the Le Merigot Beach Hotel are converted into a busy marketplace. All 23 screens on the Santa Monica Promenade and the surrounding community become AFM screening rooms for the entire eight-day event and eight digital and video screening rooms are added just for the AFM. Participants may view more than 900 screenings of approximately 500 films - 31 new films every two hours - the majority of them world or U.S. premieres. Titles range from big budget blockbusters that will be released by the major studios in the U.S., to lower budget art and genre films recognized at international film festivals, all destined for theaters and television around the world.
More than 8,000 attendees, 900 screenings, and seminars programmed by leading industry organizations, the American Film Market continues to be the pivotal destination for independent filmmakers and business people from all over the world. The American Film Market is produced by the Independent Film & Television Alliance, http://www.ifta-online.org

Digital New Age Entertainment
Digital New Age is comprised of several companies specializing in on-line distribution, talent management,
film production, and graphic design. Together we can offer the independent film maker or musician a
dedicated place to showcase their work or get support to launch a new project or venture.
It is a site for independents by independents. We have currently got a "place holder" movie, Operation:
Dead 1, to show content-creators what it will look like on our site. We are full-screen 1080 Hi-Def
capable and we have already contracted an ad company so the content creators will even see revenue from
putting their stuff on this site.
We are looking for content in all lengths and in all genres, and the way we have worked-out our deal with the company hosting all of this, if something were to happen and the content were to gain distribution or if it were required to be taken down by a festival or for any other reason, there is no long contract to make the lawyers wrangle over; we will pull it right off! We have tried to make this as pro-indie as we can.
This project will work if the independents band together and make it successful.

Film
Baby.com Film Baby is a haven for independent filmmakers and those that love independent film. We
have a love for the intensity, honesty and integrity that comes from working on a small budget film.

Anthony Steven Kalloniatis (born 22 August 1967[1]), now known professionally and legally as Ant[2], is an openly gay Greek-American Jewish stand-up comedian and actor.[3] ANT prefers his name spelled in all caps.[4] A native of Londonderry, New Hampshire, ANT performed at comedy clubs across the nation. For four years starting in 1995, he was a semi-regular cast member on the WB series "Unhappily Ever After." After the show and looking for ways to supplement his income, ANT recruited several men to become internet models. His involvement in the voyeur cam business is documented in the 2001 film WebCam Boys, which he also co-produced.[5] ANT appeared as a contestant on Last Comic Standing, and has appeared in four of that show's five seasons. That same year, he released a comedy album on Comedy Central Records, "Follow My Ass." In 2005, he released the comedy DVD, "ANT: America's Ready." He is the host of VH1 reality series Celebrity Fit Club and was a regular judge of talent on Steve Harvey's Big Time. His television series, "U.S. of ANT," premiered on MTV Network's gay-targeted Logo cable channel in the summer of 2006. ANT also frequently appears as a commentator on such shows as VH1's Best Week Ever and CNBC's Dennis Miller, and is a regular guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
In 2007, he appeared along with Snoop Dogg as a guest star on MTV's sketch comedy show Short Circuitz.
On 20 March 2007, ANT celebrated his 5th appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
Currently he is a talent judge in NBC's 5th season of Last Comic Standing, along with Kathleen Madigan and Alonzo Bodden.
ANT is an avid poker player and also one of the "famous faces"[6], due to being a regular player on the online poker website Hollywood Poker which is run in conjunction with Ongame Network.

We provide computer generated animations, multimedia legal exhibits, and demonstrative evidence for trial lawyers.
Computer technology is quickly becoming the visualization tool of choice for courtroom proceedings. The ability to accurately recreate events and eye witness perspectives makes 3D simulations an indispensable persuasive tool.
Principal Animation's founder and lead reconstruction artist, Jim Tavernetti, has over ten years of experience in computer animation and multimedia technology. Mr. Tavernetti has given expert testimony in numerous cases, including capital murder, attempted murder, self defense, aggravated assault, manslaughter, and vehicular homicide. Our exhibits are designed for unintrusive litigation support. The technology is easy to use and integrates seamlessly into courtroom proceedings. The visualization process is thoroughly tested and documented. For this reason, all of our graphics have been admitted into evidence or successfully used in discovery. Both prosecution and defense teams have used our services.
